Job Title: Motorsport Engineering Intern

As a Motorsport Engineering Intern at Bosch, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering cutting-edge solutions for the motorsport industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior engineers in technical support and project coordination for customers.
  • Provide extra support to customers with troubleshooting, system startup, testing, and racetrack support.
  • Aid engineers with commercial processes and the acquisition of new projects.
  • Design systems for motorsport projects on the engine and chassis sides.
  • Configure Bosch Motorsport electronics (display, body computer, logging system).
  • Calibrate ECU/VCU and other Bosch Motorsport hardware.
Requirements:
  • Studying for an undergraduate or Master's degree and required to take a placement as part of your course.
  • Studying Automotive, Motorsport, or Mechanical Engineering degree (Achieving 2:1 or higher).
  • Knowledge of engine hardware, combustion theory, and thermodynamics for high-performance engines.
  • Knowledge of direct injection and spark topics.
  • Knowledge of network communication (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc).
  • Good presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Assertiveness, ready to work under pressure, and good organization.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Readiness to travel in the UK and worldwide, readiness to work on weekends.
Additional Information:

This is a 13-month internship beginning in July 2025. This position is open to undergraduates or Master's students who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their course.

Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview by the hiring team and/or an online assessment centre.

You must have the right to live and work in the UK when you start your placement and for the full duration of your placement. Please note your placement must be directly relevant to your course to comply with visa requirements.
