About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Senior to join our thriving Business Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a portfolio of corporation tax clients, ensuring their compliance cycle is managed effectively with the assistance of more senior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review UK corporation tax computations
  • Monitor and manage reporting and payment deadlines
  • Work closely with audit and accounts teams to advise on tax accounting entries and disclosures
  • Train and mentor junior colleagues within the Business Tax Team
  • Provide corporation tax compliance proposals and quotes to prospective clients
  • Coordinate and review other business tax-related returns (ATED, ERS, EMI, P11Ds, etc.)
  • Monitor and manage financial performance in line with KPIs
  • Manage related correspondence with clients and HMRC
  • Identify opportunities for tax planning, risk mitigation, and cross-selling between service lines
Requirements
  • Corporate tax technical and practical knowledge
  • Good knowledge of tax issues affecting owner-managed businesses and their shareholders
  • Knowledge of other business taxes and tax reporting processes is preferable but not essential
  • Knowledge of UK accounting standards and ability to interpret accounts and other financial information
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and databases
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
