We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Project Engineer in our steel manufacturing facility. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a variety of projects, working closely with the Senior Project Engineer and the maintenance department to provide solutions to issues across the factory and workshop floor.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of projects, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure timely completion
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to identify and resolve issues, implementing long-term fixes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including production teams and senior management
- Contribute to the development of process improvements and best practices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical expertise and knowledge of industry trends
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with a strong background in hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Proven track record of project management, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
