Key Responsibilities

As an Interim Head of Finance, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting board reporting packs, including monthly management accounts and other reporting for management, board, and investor meetings. You will also be responsible for relationships with third parties for accounts prep, audit, tax, R&D tax credit, banking, and insurance brokers. Additionally, you will perform risk management and manage the risk register, encouraging continual focus on risks by the Senior Management Team (SMT).

Accountabilities

* Prepare high-quality, insightful management reporting, including actuals reporting, annual budgets, and quarterly reforecasts.
* Focus on cash management, including run-rate cash management, accurate forecasting of cash runway, and working capital management.
* Work closely with the engineering team to keep tight control of capitalisation.
* Own the 5-year strategic plan and the process of translating the strategic plan into the annual financial plan, aligning both the bottom-up sales and costs view and top-down target.

Requirements

You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
