Senior LGBT+ Advocate Opportunity

Galop, the UK's leading LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior LGBT+ Advocate to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to provide effective support to LGBT+ victims and survivors of sexual abuse and violence in the UK. As a Senior LGBT+ Advocate, you will work within our advocacy team to deliver advice, support, and advocacy to LGBT+ victims and survivors of sexual violence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist support and advocacy to LGBT+ victims and survivors of sexual abuse and violence
  • Act as a specialist lead within the advocacy team on sexual violence, providing support, advice, and expertise to colleagues and externally
  • Represent Galop with key stakeholders, advocating for the needs of the LGBT+ community
  • Deliver needs-led specialist support services, working collaboratively across a diverse and committed team

About Us

Galop is a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people. We specialise in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, and other forms of abuse. We use what we learn through working on the frontlines with clients to work on national and local policy change, to improve outcomes for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence.
