Lead the Way in Psychology at Priory Group

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Psychology to join our team at Priory Group. As a leader in the field of psychology, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and service users.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of professional psychological practice and quality within the psychology department. You will work closely with our senior management team to develop and implement strategies that promote excellence in patient experience and outcomes.

As a confident leader, you will be able to inspire and motivate your team to deliver high-quality services. You will have a deep understanding of the dynamics of working in a secure hospital setting and be able to provide containment and support to those who need it within a culture of compassion.

You will be responsible for providing professional leadership to the psychology team, contributing to the development of services, and influencing organisational thinking relating to the delivery of psychologically informed care. You will also advise at a senior management level on psychological aspects of organisational functioning, including the health and well-being of our colleagues.

In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will work clinically with a dynamic multi-professional team to develop individual formulations and psychological assessments. You will also support the development and delivery of behavioural and other psychological interventions for patients and service users.
