Community Interpreting Award Teacher

We are seeking an experienced Community Interpreting Award Teacher to join our team at Harrogate College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our Community Interpreting Awards to adult students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed as Community Interpreters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interpreting and translating, with experience in delivering learning to ESOL students. They should also have a relevant qualification in this field.

This is a part-time role with potential for expansion as we grow our Adult courses offer. Based initially at our Ripon site, you will be involved in teaching students, interviewing applicants, monitoring attendance, and tracking progress throughout the course.

About the Job:

  • You will teach our adult students the qualifications required to work as Community Interpreters.
  • You will be responsible for managing student progression throughout the course.
