Job Details

**Optometrist Role in Essex**

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team in Essex. As a Full or Part Time Optometrist, you will be responsible for visiting Nursing and Care Homes in the CM, CO, and IP post code areas.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct full clinical tests in Nursing and Care Homes
* Work with an experienced Optical Assistant or Qualified Dispensing Optician
* Visit one to two Nursing/Care Homes per day, covering a radius of no more than 40 miles
* Perform 15 tests per day, with the first appointment at 9:30am and aiming to finish at 4:30pm
* Use your own car, with petrol expenses covered at 25p per mile
* Work 8:30am to 5:30pm, including travel

**Benefits:**

* Basic salary of £65k to £70k per annum

* Full sick pay after 12 months' service
* 33 days holiday, including Bank Holidays
