About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons, utilizing innovative teaching methods and resources. They will facilitate hands-on experiments and practical demonstrations, assess student progress, and create a positive classroom environment that promotes active learning and participation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Chemistry to students at various levels, including GCSE and A-level.
  • Foster a love for science and chemistry among students, using interactive activities and hands-on experiments.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support for academic growth.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and student participation.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Prior experience teaching Chemistry, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Passionate about Chemistry and dedicated to inspiring students.
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
Estimated Salary:

£35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
