About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant for Students with Special Needs to join our team at Vision for Education - Newcastle. As an Assistant for Students with Special Needs, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to their special educational needs (SEN).

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding and changing, and participate in hydrotherapy sessions
  • Help students with mobility and communication needs
