Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients and production teams to establish good relationships
  • Ensure Nuclear Safety by ensuring quality welding of materials
  • Manage and control Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Contribute to continuous improvements
  • Carry out work in line with contract specifications and standards
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and treatment works to ensure compliance
  • Complete inspections to ensure material meets required standards
  • Ensure reports from visits to suppliers and sub-contractors are produced and recorded
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures

Requirements:

  • CSWIP 3.1 minimum certification
  • PCN Level 2 PT and Radiographic Interpretation essential
  • Advanced knowledge of welding procedures and processes
  • Excellent communication skills with a good eye for detail
  • Good IT skills and ability to use Microsoft software

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £32 per hour basic, with overtime rates of 1.4 of basic (£44.80) and 1.8 of basic (£57.60)
  • Accommodation allowance for applicable candidates

Estimated Salary Range: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience
