Job Description

Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Breedon Group plc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for optimizing our manufacturing processes and leading a team of technical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Process Engineering team in delivering efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes
  • Develop and implement process improvement plans and optimization projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, Sustainability, and Production
  • Provide technical training and support to manufacturing staff
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical & Process Engineering or related field
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in the cement industry or similar manufacturing sectors
  • Proven experience in supervising technical teams

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of advanced process control systems and their application
  • Technical understanding of pyroprocessing and combustion
  • Energy management knowledge and experience
  • Good knowledge of process control methods and statistical troubleshooting methods
