We are seeking a quantity surveying specialist to join our team as a senior construction manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fund monitoring and project cost control.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough financial analysis and monitoring of construction projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and cash flow projections.

The consultancy has a huge demand working with various investors and developers on large-scale new build industrial schemes across the Midlands.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial analysis and monitoring of construction projects.
  2. Reviewing contracts, progress reports, and cost data.
  3. Preparing accurate financial reports, including cost estimates and variance analysis.
  4. Monitoring and controlling project expenditure.
  5. Evaluating change orders and claims.
  6. Liaising with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in quantity surveying.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work closely with project teams and stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
