We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Board of Management as a non-executive member. As a member of our Board, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our college and contributing to the success of our students and staff.

**Salary:** The estimated annual salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

**Job Description:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to our college leadership team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of our college's strategic plan;
  • Providing expert advice on matters related to economic development, SME sector knowledge, and financial management;
  • Mentoring and supporting our leadership team to ensure effective decision-making and governance;
  • Fostering partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders to enhance our college's reputation and influence;
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A proven track record of senior-level leadership experience in a relevant field;
  • Expertise in economic development, SME sector knowledge, and financial management;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
  • A strong understanding of governance principles and best practices;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
