About the Role

As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who need extra help to stay healthy, participate in their community, and lead fulfilling lives. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.

You will be working closely with a registered practitioner to deliver direct services to individuals and their carers. Your tasks will include preventing, reducing, and delaying the need for formal care and support using a strength-based approach which includes provision of tailored advice, information, and a range of interventions.

The salary for this position is approximately £27,711 - £30,060 per annum (pro rata), plus benefits. In addition to your annual salary, you will receive an excellent local government pension scheme, employee assistance programme including 24/7 wellbeing helpline, range of local & lifestyle discounts, use of a free onsite gym, and much more.

To be successful in this role, you will require GCSE Math's and English or equivalent, working knowledge of key legislation and guidance that relates to the provision of adult social care, awareness of the principles of safeguarding, experience of working with vulnerable adults, and competent level of IT skills and ability to learn and use adult social care recording system.
