Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to provide high-quality one-on-one tutoring sessions to students with diverse learning styles, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students, adapting to their unique learning styles and abilities.
  • Create and implement personalized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student engagement and understanding.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in SEN (Special Educational Needs) experience, with a deep understanding of differentiated instruction.
  • Proficiency in teaching core subjects to students of various age groups and ability levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and establish a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles and needs.
  • Qualified teachers or PGCE preferred.
