About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team at the CareTech Group. As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and nurturing environment for children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people during challenging times
  • Foster ambition and assist in achieving goals and maximising potential
  • Support educational pursuits and maintain accurate records
  • Empower young people to participate in decision-making and act as an advocate in meetings
  • Encourage community engagement and maintain a safe and welcoming home environment

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement: 21 years old
  • Full UK driving license preferable
  • No prior experience necessary, only a commitment and passion for working with young people
  • Attendance at a 2-week training program required
  • Must have availability for sleep-in shifts
