About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Approved Electrical Specialist to join our team at Platform Housing Group. As a key member of our Programme team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality electrical services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver day-to-day electrical repairs, fault finding, maintenance, installation, and compliance work, including Inspection and Testing and completion of EICRs.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver refurbished kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring excellent customer service and attention to detail.
  • Conduct electrical work in a domestic setting, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing a professional and courteous service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service.
Requirements
  • NVQ L3 Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
  • 18th Edition regulation and AM2 certification.
  • Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting.
  • Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association, or council.
  • Experience of delivering complete installs of kitchens and bathrooms from start to finish.
  • Experience of delivering multi-trade work.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to keep jobs on track.
  • The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently.
  • Full driving Licence, with a Van and Fuel card provided.
  • DBS check required due to working within customers' homes.
