Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team at Austin Fraser. This exciting role involves working on high-end residential and commercial properties, delivering excellent service and technical expertise while maintaining the exceptional standards our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PPM Maintenance: Carry out planned preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and AOVs to ensure seamless operation and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Small Works and Installations: Complete minor works and installations with precision and efficiency, meeting client expectations and exceeding their needs.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve faults effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients, providing them with expert advice and guidance on fire safety and electrical systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to relevant standards and regulations, maintaining a strong reputation for quality and reliability.
About You:
  • Experienced: Proven experience working with fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and AOVs, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Reliable and Punctual: Dependable and able to manage time effectively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
  • Professional: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach and a strong ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
  • Qualified: Relevant qualifications in fire alarm maintenance and electrical systems (e.g., FIA, City & Guilds), with a commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
  • Problem Solver: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues, with a focus on finding effective solutions and improving processes.
