Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding work on rail vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding work on rail vehicles.
- Work closely with teams across the business to support the wider production teams with ongoing maintenance and repairs.
- Adhere to and work within Quality Systems to the current applicable standards.
- Work as part of a team to ensure work is completed on time and to specification.
- Support secondary level fault finding as and when required.
- Use work-related IT systems to record progress of operations and status of issues.
About You
We value passion and attitude over experience. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with our company. Ideally, you'll have a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent and relevant technical qualifications. You'll also have experience of working to procedures, work instructions, and vehicle maintenance instructions.
