Quantity Surveyor for Commercial Projects

TSC Education is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in the delivery of major projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for costing projects for commercial clients and working closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and analyze end-of-project profit and loss reports to ensure accurate financial management.
- Obtain variation costs from contractors and issue valuation payment notices in a timely manner.
- Take commercial responsibility for projects, including negotiations up to and including final account agreements.
- Collect retention payments from contractors and suppliers.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors on commercial aspects following order placement.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Director and Project Managers to achieve project objectives.
- A proven track record in the commercial construction industry, with experience working with building regulations and building control.
- Familiarity with PBSA (Purpose Built Student Accommodation) and its associated complexities.
An attractive salary of ££45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.
