Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers in accordance with VOSA standards.
- Conduct diagnostics and rectify defects as part of the Heavy Vehicle Mechanic's duties.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections, a critical responsibility of the role.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization within the workshop, a key aspect of the position.
- Work on double-deck vehicles, requiring knowledge of double/moving decks.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections.
- Engage in vehicle diagnostics and MOT preparation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the Heavy Vehicle Mechanic field, with extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- A strong dedication to health and safety standards is essential.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred.
