This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being a companion and friend to others. You will spend time with people who have learning disabilities and autism, accompanying them to activities they enjoy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a reliable companion to attend activities with people who have learning disabilities and autism.
- Develop strong relationships based on trust and empathy.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection procedures.
- Assist with sighted guide or orientation tasks when necessary.
Requirements:
- Be kind, empathetic, and friendly.
- Have a good sense of humour and enjoy chatting.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Be able to deal with information in line with our data protection and confidentiality procedures.
- Be able to assist with sighted guide or orientation tasks.
