Workshop Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV/Refuse Vehicle Technician to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of HGV and refuse vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and repairing HGV and refuse vehicles to a high standard
  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure vehicles are in good working order
  • Working closely with other members of the workshop team to ensure efficient and effective vehicle maintenance
  • Providing technical assistance and guidance to junior technicians

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HGV/Refuse Vehicle Technician
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
