Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced KS1 teacher to join a thriving primary school community in Barnet. As a KS1 teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of curious learners.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching in KS1 within the UK curriculum and hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree. They will be passionate about fostering curiosity and a lifelong love of learning through engaging and creative lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.

We are looking for someone who collaborates well with a team of skilled educators to achieve outstanding academic outcomes. The ideal candidate will also support children in developing key foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking, as well as encouraging social, emotional, and personal growth through innovative teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver high-quality education to students in KS1
  • To develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
  • To assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

  1. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
  2. Has experience teaching in KS1 within the UK curriculum
  3. Is passionate about fostering curiosity and a lifelong love of learning
