Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team at Morepeople 01780. As an Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in achieving their sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conducting ecological surveys and preparing reports to support planning applications
  2. Advising project teams on ecological legislation and developing mitigation and enhancement measures
  3. Managing subcontractors and representing clients as a professional witness when required

Requirements

You will hold a degree in Ecology or a related field and be a qualified member of CIEEM (MCIEEM). With at least 3 years of experience in ecological practice, you will have significant experience in conducting ecological surveys, preparing Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, protected species surveys, and Ecological Impact Assessments.

A full driving license and access to a car are also required. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is crucial, as is an awareness of health and safety practices.
