Proftech Talent is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Fitter to join our team in Sheffield. As a multi-disciplined service provider, we support local industry and infrastructure from our facility in Sheffield with a range of unique rotating machine services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect and disassemble rotating machines, including electric motors, gearboxes, and pumps, to accurately assess and observe damage and wear.
- Carry out basic electrical testing to establish machine condition.
- Utilize milling machines, grinders, lathes, boring machinery, and to machine and reverse engineer mechanical parts for motors and generators.
- Perform metal spraying, balancing, and complex turning.
- Submit daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering, either C&G or NVQ equivalent.
- Previous experience within an Electro Mechanical environment.
- Experience of rotating equipment, route cause analyses, and measuring.
- Ability to travel for short durations as and when required for specific site work.
- Use industry equipment correctly and safely during the repair process.
- Be methodical and accurate, working independently as well as part of a team.
