**Training Advisor Role Overview**

This challenging position involves recruiting, retaining, and supporting learners throughout their educational journey to achieve qualifications in line with key performance indicators and required criteria. As a Training Advisor, you will develop strong working relationships with learners and clients, ensuring learners achieve their qualification within the specified timeframe and delivery is achieved within internal and external requirements.

**About the Role**

You will support learners in the workplace delivering apprenticeships in Aeronautical Engineering. The role is field-based and fits within the Delivery Team reporting to the Quality Manager. ALS is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and while it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.

**Requirements**

  1. Communicating and liaising internally and externally, using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships with both clients and learners
  2. Providing support and guidance to ensure achievement of learner qualifications in line with internal delivery process, internal quality assurance procedures, and the standards required by external bodies
  3. Representing ALS Ltd in a professional manner and promoting all available services as opportunities arise
  4. Liaising with the sales team to ensure learners are recruited following the AL&D business plan and targets are met
  5. Carrying out all associated assessment and verification processes in accordance with internal quality systems, processes, and procedures and within required timescales
  6. Ensuring all associated administrative tasks are completed to the required standards, following internal policies and procedures
  7. Ensuring that all relevant health and safety documents are completed within the necessary timescales, following the code of practice and internal policies and procedures
  8. Monitoring the working environment of the learners and reporting any unsafe practices or surroundings accordingly
  9. Ensuring a prompt response to any requests made in conjunction with any internal and/or external audits conducted
  10. Dealing professionally and effectively with any complaints received from either learners or clients
  11. Effectively managing the working diary to ensure all learners within the caseload are visited accordingly and in line with the stipulated timescales
  12. Adhering to all equal opportunities and diversity-related legislation concerning learners, clients, and colleagues
  13. Adhering to all health & safety related legislation concerning learners, clients, and colleagues
  14. Adhering to all ESDGC (Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship) related information regarding all learners, clients, and colleagues
  15. To adhere to and promote ALS' environmental practices
  16. Any other duties as requested by your manager, which may be necessary from time to time
