Job Title: Reliable Equipment Specialist

Location: Rochester

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Shifts: 4 on 4 off rotating (07:00-19:00, 12:00-24:00; may vary during peak periods)

We require a reliable equipment specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our plant and equipment at Reed Engineering.

About the Role:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
  • Investigate and resolve equipment issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption.
  • Manage inventory levels of critical spares and materials.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • An electro-mechanical background and relevant certifications such as City & Guilds or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of electrically biased maintenance principles and practices.
  • Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of CMMS software applications.
