Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Copello. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the decomposition of the Dreadnought Whole Boat Shock and Externally Generated Vibration requirements to the combat systems major systems engineers and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Decompose complex requirements into manageable tasks
  • Generate derived requirements for technical specifications
  • Review and approve supplier submitted physical test plans and procedures
  • Presentation and delivery of Combat Systems equipment Shock and EGV qualification evidence to the customer

Requirements:

  • Experience of structural engineering and analysis techniques
  • Capable in the use of a mathematical package such as Mathcad, Mathematica, etc.
