A Senior Site Reliability Engineer with Oracle's Software Assurance Team is responsible for ensuring the high availability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems. As a key member of our hybrid team, you will work collaboratively with engineers across the globe to design, develop, and implement complex systems that meet the needs of our critical customers.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a passion for cutting-edge technology and a strong background in software development, system administration, and cloud computing. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, as well as opportunities for growth and development within our global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, and Implement Complex Systems: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable and secure cloud-based systems that meet the needs of our critical customers.">
  • Evaluate and Improve System Performance: Use data-driven approaches to evaluate and improve system performance, scalability, and security.">
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including project plans, status updates, and recommendations.">
  • Collaborate with Global Teams: Work effectively with engineers across the globe to achieve shared goals and objectives.">
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and security.">

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years' Experience in Software Development and System Administration: Proven experience in software development, system administration, and cloud computing.">
  • Cloud Computing Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, services, and architectures.">
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.">
  • Experience Working with Geographically Distributed Teams: Proven ability to work effectively with engineers across the globe.">
  • Security Clearance Eligibility: Eligibility to obtain security clearance, if required by the role.">
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.">
