English Tutor Opportunity

TP Tutors is seeking a dedicated and experienced English tutor to work with Local Authorities and Schools in the Hartlepool area. As an English tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children who are not currently accessing education or who require additional support in a mainstream setting.

The Role:
  • Session Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver English-focused sessions that cater to the individual needs of each child.
  • Constructive Feedback and Progress Monitoring: Provide constructive feedback and use it to inform future planning and enhance the child's learning experience.
  • Understanding Child Needs: Develop a deep understanding of each child's unique needs and requirements.
  • Engagement Strategies: Apply various behavioral strategies to engage pupils in the session and promote a positive learning environment.
Tutor Requirements:
  • Qualifications and Experience: Professional teaching qualifications are preferred, and experience working with children with SEND/SEMH needs is essential.
  • References and DBS: Provide two professional references that cover a 24-month period of employment from a 10-year career history and an enhanced child workforce-only DBS or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors.
