Job Summary

The Operational Manager, a key role within Womankind Bristol Womens Therapy Centre, is responsible for overseeing the delivery of clinical and volunteer support services. This includes group therapy and counselling, as well as our helpline and befriending services. The post-holder will lead a small team and bring expertise in mental health services, including safeguarding, to improve and extend our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure services meet financial and quality standards, and comply with contractual requirements.
  • Work with the CEO and team members to identify new business and service development opportunities.
  • Develop existing services to maximise the Charity's reach and income.
  • Participate in and lead work with partner organisations to support integrated working across the sector.
  • Line manage the Clinical Manager and Senior Volunteer Service co-ordinator, and oversee clinical and volunteer support services.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in operational management, with a focus on mental health services. They will be able to bring expertise in safeguarding and use data to improve services. The post-holder will also have strong leadership skills and be able to work effectively with the CEO and other team members.
