Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Consultant Intern to join our Data Analytics Consulting Team at Altair Engineering. As a Technical Consultant Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and integration of cutting-edge SAS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve technical and software issues to ensure the seamless functioning of data analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to define system architecture and contribute to the analysis and implementation of hardware/software specifications.
  • Work on implementing, testing, and providing guidance during solution deployments.
  • Learn and contribute to the preparation of proposals for data analytics solution deliverables.
  • Contribute to technical trainings and support initiatives, covering multiple products and advanced topics.

Requirements:

  • Enrollment in a full-time academic program.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in progress in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in the field of Data Analytics with a desire to learn and contribute to the consulting team.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies in Data Analytics, such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Basic understanding of Linux system administration and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced consulting environment.
