About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with merchandising experience to take their career forward in a fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the merchandising department with administration tasks, supporting stock allocation, and liaising with various teams to ensure smooth product delivery.



Key Responsibilities



  • Assist the merchandising department with administrative tasks, including creating purchase orders and managing POs.
  • Support the allocation of stock, ensuring accurate tracking and monitoring of sales and stock movements.
  • Liaise with buyers, quality control teams, and contractors to identify product status and chase gold seals.
  • Monitor the progression of stock through the manufacturing cycle to meet delivery dates.
  • Analyse and report on stock, markdown, sales, intake, and margin for the team.


Requirements



  • A minimum of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum salary, paid weekly, with opportunities for career progression.
  • Previous experience in a merchandising or allocation role, with strong organisational skills and IT proficiency.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and interpretive skills, with above GCSE maths grade C.
  • Recent relevant head office retail experience and strong communication skills.
