Civil Site Manager Job Description

DCS Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to work on a project based in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site management and be able to lead a team to ensure compliance with company SHEQ requirements and H&S regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of daily and weekly records to comply with company SHEQ requirements.
  • Monitor on-site operations with the workforce to ensure compliance with specification and H&S regulations.
  • Raise queries with the Contracts Manager and QS in relation to technical issues/variations.
  • Attend client progress meetings and provide progress reports.
  • Manage all workforce and any sub-contractors on site.
  • Ordering of materials/equipment and plant.
Requirements:
  • SMSTS certification.
  • CSCS certification.
  • First aid certification.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in site management.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of working for civil engineering/groundwork contractors in a senior site manager role.
  • Experience of working on contracts involving excavation, drainage, RC frame, slabs, and other general civils aspects.

Pay Rate: £260-£280 per shift, depending on experience.
