About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our Audiology team as an Audiology Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with hearing aid aftercare, including repairing or replacing broken hearing aids and providing support with earmoulds.
  • Provide patients with hearing aid accessories and take telephone queries and other clerical duties.
  • Input data onto an Audiology specific database and follow up appointments with patients who have recently been fitted with a hearing aid.
  • Signpost patients to other support organisations and work closely with multiagency organisations to provide a professional and efficient service.

Person Specification

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 and above/Grade C or above) or equivalent.
  • NVQ in Care and/business administration (desirable).
  • Experience of problem solving, team working, and excellent manual dexterity and co-ordination.
  • Good communication skills and experience of working in a healthcare setting (desirable).
