Midwife - Antenatal Clinic Specialist

Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Band 6 Midwife to work in a unique and multifaceted service within the Maternity Day Assessment Unit (DAU). This role provides support to high-risk antenatal women, offering a range of services including outpatient foleys induction, ECVs, acute scanning, and monofer infusions.
The successful applicant will be motivated, passionate, and dedicated to providing high-quality, researched-based care. They will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining professional links with maternity triage, community midwives, and sonographers.
Main Duties
The maternity Day Assessment Unit is based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, with close links to Amersham and Wycombe Hospital. The service operates 7 days a week, covering various shifts. The successful candidate will also support the Antenatal Clinic when required.
