IT Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Risk Manager to join our team at Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and assessing risks to ensure the bank's IT systems and infrastructure are secure and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate IT risk management activities in close collaboration with relevant specialist departments and 2nd line units.
- Support the identification, analysis, and assessment of risks, including regular checks and review of internal and external audit reports.
- Advise units responsible for risk management on management decisions and monitor the implementation of measures.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and projects to enhance the bank's risk posture.
- Contribute to the creation of management-compliant reports on the risk situation and risk management.
- Completed studies or comparable training.
- Experience in IT risk management or IT compliance/IT governance.
- Good knowledge of risk management processes, methods, frameworks, and tools.
- Good knowledge of regulatory requirements for IT in the financial sector (MaRisk, BAIT/DORA, etc.).
- Good presentation and communication skills with German language skills at level C1 (or better) and English language skills at level B2 (or better).
