HR Advisor

Bio Products Laboratory Limited is seeking an HR Advisor to join their Human Resources team for a 12-month fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with employees, business managers, and stakeholders to support the HR function in achieving its objectives. This will involve providing comprehensive and professional HR advice, managing employee relations matters, and completing HR projects.
The ideal candidate will be an HR professional who is passionate about supporting and working closely with all levels in the business. They will have a strong understanding of best practice HRM and up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
The HR Advisor will be responsible for:
- Providing HR advice and guidance to employees, business managers, and stakeholders
- Managing employee relations matters, including sickness absence reviews, investigations, and grievances
- Supporting HR Business Partners in large-scale employee relations activities
- Managing leave requests, including maternity and paternity leave
- Managing flexible working requests
- Conducting exit interviews and escalating issues to relevant HR Business Partners
The successful candidate will have:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use problem-solving skills and initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to achieve positive working relationships
- Experience of managing ER cases
- Demonstrable experience of advising and supporting managers in HR matters
- Knowledge of best practice HRM and up-to-date with relevant legislation
