About the Role
  • You will work as part of our safeguarding team, providing legal advice and representation in cases involving child protection and adult safeguarding.
  • As a skilled lawyer, you will be responsible for drafting complex legal documents, conducting research, and analyzing data to inform your advice and decisions.
  • With excellent communication skills, you will work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) and full membership of the Law Society (or Bar Council)
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in local government or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989, Mental Health Act 1983, and Mental Capacity Act 2005
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
