Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Harbour Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of junior chefs and kitchen staff
  • Ensure that all kitchen operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and stock levels
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie
  • Proven track record of achieving high standards of quality and service
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene legislation
