Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Omega Resource Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Bath. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing high-precision components for the defence industry sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare components for assembly
  • Perform pressure testing, including pre- and post-measurement and recording of results
  • Assemble components in line with work instructions
  • Operate manual and automated test rigs, recording data and results
  • Assist with paint masking and post-paint finishing operations
  • De-masking of components following final paint application
  • Port identification and colour coding as required
  • Final assembly of components, including identification prior to final packing
  • Packing product into shipping boxes and transfer to despatch area
  • Perform basic in-process quality control checks
  • Assist in other areas of production as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a production or automotive assembly environment
  • Strong team-working ethic and ability to maintain pace of work
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and ability to work on own initiative
  • Willingness to be trained with new skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to obtain UK Security Clearance
