We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineering Lead to join our team at Develop in Manchester.

Company Overview

Our client is a leading brand in the Sports Betting, Gaming, and Interactive Entertainment industry. They have experienced significant growth and are now looking for a Technical Lead to oversee the delivery of projects within a cross-functional team.

Salary

We offer a competitive starting package with a regular bonus, estimated at £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex projects with a focus on predictability, quality, and efficiency. You will drive end-to-end delivery, ensuring high-quality technical results while managing risk and maintaining an efficient, sustainable process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Lead the delivery of complex projects, collaborating closely with Product and Development teams to anticipate and address technical and architectural risks.
  2. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with system reliability, data security, and scalability.
  3. Mentorship: Guide and develop engineers, providing career support, performance reviews, and mentorship to ensure their growth and success.
  4. Recruitment: Participate in hiring processes, conducting interviews and assisting with team planning to build a strong and diverse team.
  5. Develop RESTful APIs and web services, utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  6. DevOps Tools: Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and leverage containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  7. Familiarity with scripting languages (Python/Bash) and SQL databases is required.
