Job Summary:
The role of a Senior Children's Nurse is to provide exceptional patient care and support to children and their families in a leading children's hospice in Barnet, North London. As a registered Sick Children's Nurse with relevant post-qualification experience, you will lead a team of nurses and carers to deliver high-quality patient care in the hospice, children's homes, or community settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct line management support to Band 5 Nurses and Band 3 + 4 Specialist Carers.
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care plans in collaboration with families to ensure safety and advocacy.
  • Ensure compassionate and sensitive care is provided to all children.
  • Administer medications and maintain the nutritional status of all children.
  • Participate in governance activities, including incident reporting and resource management.
  • Offer training and development opportunities to staff and family members.

Package and Benefits:

  • The estimated annual salary for this position is up to £49,976, based on experience.
  • A joining bonus of £5,000 over three years.
  • 25 days of annual leave, increasing with service, plus the option to buy or sell leave.
