Job Summary

This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating installation tasks, ensuring quality control, and reporting any issues to the project manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate installation tasks with the visiting installation team, ensuring a hands-on approach.
  • Lead commissioning tasks in conjunction with the visiting commissioning team, with a focus on quality control.
  • Liaise with the site contact to ensure coordination of tasks aligns with the project schedule.
  • Carry out site acceptance testing with the Leidos team resources.
  • Be responsible for installation quality control and reporting any issues to the project manager in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Technical experience of lane/line roller conveyors installations.
  • PLC programming experience is an advantage.
  • Software/HMI operation skills.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems.
  • Hands-on experience with tools during installation.
  • Driving license and willingness to travel between sites.
  • PC literate, able to upload/download documents and drawings.
  • Software coding knowledge/experience is preferable.
  • Experience of working in environments where the public may be present.
  • Understanding of standard industry techniques for quality control.
  • CSCS card holder or experience of working inside CDM requirements.
  • Willingness to learn/train.
  • Able to read PDF/CAD drawings.
  • Capable of working to work instructions and method statements.
  • Willingness to mentor and develop others to achieve business goals.
