Job Description

Crooton is seeking a motivated General Operative/Mailroom Administrator to join our team in Hemel Hempstead. In this role, you will be working in a mailroom production environment as part of a team supporting a large, prestigious government seasonal project. Your responsibilities will include receiving and opening confidential documents, batching, registering, validating and scanning documents into the database, checking inbound mail for any threats, and completing quality checks to ensure image and index quality of documents is in accordance with SLAs.

Requirements
  • Some previous experience working within a production, mailroom, data centre or document storage environment would be preferable
  • Good data entry skills, and familiarity with using a computer keyboard
  • Any knowledge of scanning documents would be useful
  • Experience of working to targets
  • Excellent attention to detail is required to quality check information and photographs
  • Safety Shoes will be required, however Meridian can supply these

The estimated salary for this role is £14.15 per hour, with the possibility of a shift allowance.
