Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production equipment.
About the Job
This is a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance professional to work with state-of-the-art equipment, document maintenance activities, and support site security procedures. You will be responsible for executing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, supporting junior engineers, maintaining detailed records, and adhering to company procedures and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Execute preventive maintenance programs to meet KPIs and annual targets
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
- Support and mentor junior engineers
- Maintain detailed maintenance records
- Follow and improve company procedures and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with the engineering team and production staff
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Deliver excellent service to internal customers
- Implement GOLD standard operations using Six Sigma, 5S, and LEAN principles
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within FMCG manufacturing
- Electrically biased with strong understanding of industrial systems
- Skilled in pneumatics, schematics reading, and advanced fault finding
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable with digital systems and Microsoft Office
- Passionate about continuous learning and development
- Able to work independently while being a strong team player
- Experience with food manufacturing equipment (preferred)

Terms and Conditions
- 40 hours/week, including some overtime and call out
