We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Reed Property & Construction. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects, including contract administration, budgeting, and cost management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in the utilities and civil sectors. You will be responsible for working closely with our project managers and operational staff to ensure the successful delivery of contracts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial aspects of projects, including contract administration and budgeting
  • Work closely with project managers and operational staff to ensure successful delivery of contracts
  • Develop and implement commercial reporting systems
  • Participate in post-contract analysis and suggest process improvements

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or HNC/HND in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with QS experience
  • Knowledge and experience in the utilities and civil sectors
  • Ability to persuade, influence, and negotiate effectively
  • Full driving licence
