Container HGV Class 1 Driver Job Description

Wild Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Container drivers to join their team for a cargo terminal based in the Portsmouth area, specializing in delivering fresh produce.

You have the flexibility to choose your shifts, working days, nights, or weekends.

The hourly rate is £18, paid through an umbrella scheme.

To be eligible for this role, you will need a valid DP World card. If you don't already have one, you can purchase it for this role, and Wild Recruitment will reimburse you (terms and conditions apply).

Requirements for the HGV Class 1 Container Driver Role
  • A valid DP World card
  • A full UK Driving Licence with Category C+E
  • A Digi tacho card and valid CPC
  • A minimum of 18 months experience driving a LGV 1 Container vehicle
  • A strong understanding of logistics and cargo terminal operations
